no chance at all I would say. The EU will see that there is now a possible majority for a deal, so long as time is given to debate it properly. Of course they'll offer an extension to let that happen. And any amendments making it a softer Brexit will be welcomed by the EU. If the deal is amended so much that Johnson scraps it, then the only way out is a GE or second referendum - and the EU would be happy with that too.
Why on earth would they refuse an extension now?
Who knows.
I can’t see anyway to go other than an election.
I imagine the EUs thinking is an election may see a revoke ?

Seems I misheard, Johnson said this deal rather than no deal, as it has been ratified.
But the deal is crap with no economic details being produced, maybe that will come out now.
This can't go through if nobody knows how it will affect the economy.

Well to answer seriously, this legislation does need consideration.
If the EU grant a flexible extension they can’t be blamed for a no deal outcome.
I would think most sensible leavers would welcome the chance to get decent legislation sorted out.
Of course Brexiteers are fixated on No Deal but that’s unlikely now.
One thing is almost certain, 31st October is dead in the water. Which is good news for either “side”.

I should imagine they will agree to an extension but alllow it to be stopped at the point of the bill eventually passing.
You say “get ready for Brexit” but that is what they are trying to do.
Not many people seem to have faith in the deal and it’s going to take some thrashing out. If the deal is still no good then there is no point in voting it through on a 3rd reading other than to stop a No Deal crash out.
See, it’s not as simple as you would have been lead to believe.
Yes, yes “it’s simple, leave means leave” and all your other tired phrases. Thank goodness there are people with influence who are looking out for democracy and due procedure.
