On a perfect day so probably a batting wicket if the weather is the same in Wales we should have got at least a 150 1st innings lead.

It's not though. It was moving about all over the place, Sussex must have played and missed about 100 times. What Glamorgan did was recognise this and started hitting out - they scored very quickly even if they did get all out

Glamorgan

252 all out

Second innings 127 - for 2 wickets (37.4overs)

Sussex

First innings 283 all out

Glamorgan lead Sussex by 96 runs with 8 wickets remaining.....Big defeat looming :-(

Never ! BBC Radio Sussex admitted that Glamorgan were slowing up Sussex's title push but the outcome surely is a certain victory ?

Lunch, Day 4

Glamorgan 256-8, leading by 225

With 68 overs remaining in the match, a couple of quick wickets or a 'sporting' declaration and all 4 results are still possible!

Six wickets for 107 runs this morning. Once each for Archer, Magoffin, Wiese and Briggs... and 2 for Sussex born & bred George Garton.

Win this and an unlikely charge for the title is still on...

Beating Kent next week at Hove would end their challenge and then we have to hope Essex choke a bit.

57-1 chasing 233 is getting close to being in the bag.

Nash is in superb form this season and should be able to see this through.

Wells is the ideal foil for Nash.

We do not deserve to go up, the batting more often than not has been woeful this season.

Sussex have got lucky with the 3 bowlers coming through and possibly another year in Division 2 might be good for their development.
