According to the football agents company Bolanos is shown as primarily an attacking midfielder, which begs the question is he the first part of a two piece jigsaw to complete the dream of premier league football. It also states his value at being 2.10m but his contract runs until 2019 which is why the increased transfer fee.
I do think if this is real he will be 1 of 2 coming in January. Hughton has previously stated he wants more midfield creativity and we need a better dead ball specialist

A better one? Just having one would be a start!

I've not been through the entire thread so apologies if this has been covered already but...

The original letter is addressed to something like the "Adequate Sports Management" company. The recipient's name is also decidedly... er... Nigerian in origin.

I hope somebody isn't trying to "419" scam Mr. Bloom.

A brief check reveals it's a genuine registered agent with a genuine company

I'm sure it's all fine but I'm a suspicious soul. Seven years working abroad handling visa applications does that to a man. Used to see that sort of thing all the time. Many a scammer would send out a letter from a known name and address or company with a revised telephone number in the hope that our checks would only extend as far as a phone call.

I don't imagine for a minute that The Lizard could ever be played though. He's way too shrewd.

Sorry if it is too difficult for you to understand I took the 8 zeros to mean 7million pounds (6 zeros) and no pence hence 8 zeros. Is that clear enough or you?

I'm confused by this all.

Someone posted 10,000,000.00 euros is about 7000,000,00.

You posted in response to that, that 10m euros is 7m pounds.

You say that you took 7000,000,00 as 7m.

So why post that 10m = 7m if that's what you thought the other poster had posted?

The exchange rate of €10m is about £7m as I said.:ffsparr:

Yes, but you said it in response to (and quoting) someone who had already said that.

Am I missing some joke here? I get others making fun of you for doing it. But you still seem to be defending what you did in the face of this (I'm sure friendly) ridicule.

So, am I getting this right, we've been asked to choose to pay 10million Euros or £700million - surely we'll go for the Euros option if Barber is thinking about it and worth us employing?

Even if he costs 10m quid who cares as long as we get promoted. 10m payout for a 120m premier league jackpot, bit of a no brainer really.

Don't know. What did we give Stanstead for Gary Hart?
Tracksuits. That's why I asked, £9.9m is all well and good but if they're valuing him higher than OGH by giving first team shirts then I, for one, will complain*

*to myself.

I'm still confused.

Are we signing Miller Bolanos or Miler Bolaños? Or are we signing both? Maybe one for €10 million (which I heard was about £7 million), and the other for £700 million (which is about 26.6 trillion Ecuadorean sucres, and might explain why they want payment in Euros)?
