Or the chap who walked around the pitch with the draw numbers on a board and the chap sellng The Argus probably all long gone. Wonder if they saw The Amex.

Agree, the fast one has passion and builds up to something. The slow one is more Albiyaaaawwwn than Albion.
He used to work in the OB box at the Withdean.
When did we stop singing "You'll never walk alone?" as I remember that being sung once and my Uncle remembered it being sung a few times in the sixties. Now, is that just my romantic memory?

I wonder if people are mixing up 'come on you blues' for the Albion chant. I sat in the west for several years as a child and occasionally, the stand would rouse from its slumbers and sing it. The slow Albion chant, no, in my opinion was never heard. It came from Liverpool in the last twenty years. I join in with it now as it's almost the only song the majority sing at the amex, but it's a sh*te song.
