Any of these 660 folk arrested MP's, or members of the House of Lords, or the legal profession, by any chance?
I'm going to take a wild stab at the answer being 'no' here.
Let's just arrest a few scoutmasters for ******* over the teenage girls in the underwear section of their Grattan catalogues, and then we can all go back to sleep.
Job done - keep moving folks - nothing to see here...

The 660 were seriously nasty people, 400 children were directly put put of harms way, it's not just those in the public eye we have to stop hurting kids!

"This week the Economist said historians will look back on Britain’s public life at the turn of the 21st century as being mired in an “age of disillusionment”. They are most probably right. But for some people, it may well be remembered as a golden age when the most vulnerable people in society were finally given a voice and powerful abusers were brought to justice."

MP's Expenses, Phone Hacking, Hillborough, Libor, PPI, now this.

Are we all now waking up to the utter contempt the "great" institutions of this nation treat us with?

Police examine claims late Cardiff MP George Thomas abused boy

Police say they are investigating allegations the former House of Commons speaker George Thomas sexually abused a nine-year-old boy.

The alleged victim, now aged 55, told the Mirror newspaper he was abused in the 1960s and 1970s by the late MP who was a friend of his foster parents.

Police issued a statement saying they were investigating claims first made in 2013 and apologised for the delay
