i played with a few lads back in the 80's who were EXCELLENT footballers , we all went for trials to fulham , chelsea and spurs........none of us made it, obviously.......one of the lads ended up playing for tampa bay in the nsl....he is still there ....nick stavrou from worthing.... 5 ft 2 in the only thing going against him......you f***ing utter tool.

Yes, but we don't live in the 80's anymore. People have finally realised that a lack of height isn't a reason to stop someone playing at the top level. Most of the worlds best players are small as they have a lower centre of gravity
