Here we go. The big derby match, that we have all been waiting for on the South Coast (though Palace still haven't sold out their allocation!). For a team that is currently second, an average home attendance of 15,835 (14th best in the league) is poor. Still with the travelling hordes coming up from Sussex, we should help them move up the table!! BHA are top of this league - 25,446.

Crystal Palace (2nd) could go back to the top if they win, or perhaps draw, whilst a defeat for them they could slip to 3rd. An Albion victory & we could climb to 4th. Defeat as low as 11th (if we get hammered) & after the weekends fixtures.

As to recent form both sides are very much in form. Last 6 games, Palace have secured 13 points (3rd best in league) & Albion 12 points (5th best)

92 times we have played our biggest rivals, of which Albion have the better record of 36 wins, 23 draws & 33 defeats. Our last two visits to Selhurst have finished as 1-1 draw & that 1-0 win in October 2005 (our last win in 4 games against them, home or away). During the 1980s BHA routinely beat Palace home & away, yet in recent years, the Eagles have had the upper hand. In the last 8 matches between the sides, Albion have only won once!

As for the Score Predictor 32 pollsters correctly predicted the Bristol City result. stupendor has moved clear at the top. Well played!!

2-1. The problem is I don't know who too! I think this will be the closest, most hard thought derby in a long, long time. Bring it on!

Unfortunately I can see Zaha up for this, which means trouble for our back four. With the lack of a cutting edge up front for us, I can only see a defeat.

2-0 to the scummers with Murray getting both, one a penalty (which Zaha wins) and then a header (which Murray beats Greer to!)
