Hi everyone,

The football season may not yet have started, however, with the last final touches for teams to buy that elusive much needed player(s), most clubs seem to be there or thereabouts in their preparations for the opening games of the season.

Very early days of course, but where do you think the Albion will finish the season?

Can we improve upon our 10th place of last year?

Will we score more goals & concede less than last year?

Can our away form improve?

Is it possible to improve upon the magnificent start that we had last year & also overt the ongoing slump that we incurred towards the 2011/2012 season finish?

........I will post this poll at the beginning of each month. Will be fun to see what NSC predictions are for the season as it progresses.

+10 points, Vicente fit from start
+10 points, Top Keeper (as per Cloughie)
+5 points, fixed our weak full-back area
+5 points, young team getting better (Dunk, Bridcutt, Lua Lua, Barnes, Buckley, etc.)

= 96 points, so we're probably finishing first. hooray.

You forgot a few things:

-10 lack of a quality Championship striker
-20 lack of a tough tackling box to box midfielder

For me that makes it 66 points and mid-table obscurity.

But I might go along with 1st if we pull our finger out and fill the two gaps in the team.

I went for 10th last season, 6th this season. Even without further signings, I think our defence is stronger. Some of our other players will be more experienced at this level I am optimistic about Hoskins and think even Harley may some good (I can hear the mob lighting their torches and arming up with cudgels on that one :) )

Will review over the coming season.
