It genuinely looks like they have over staffed a port to help kettle England fans (along with helping the Russians and locals to beat them up) and forgotten to look after the games themselves. Another 2 gone off in the last 10 mins

But all UEFA have done is open an investigation in to Russia, nothing said about the general policing and stewarding of the event. They are supposedly on high terrorist alert yet people are taking explosives in to the grounds

What is the security up to here? Flares in the ground during this game, why are they not trying to protect innocent fans going to games? What are they searching for?

Yes he was, and before the facts were known as it is coming out that the England fans were attacked Friday night and although I do not condone violence they are apparently defending themselves. He has since today said he still stands by his comment

Unless they have changed the story when I was reading on the site earlier (couple of hours ago) they pointed all the blame at the England fans attacking Russian and French fans but there was no supporting pictures or videos

Although not nice at all for someone to want to do that, if someone had been killed related to the football I fear for the consequences

I thought thats what you meant, I just thought this picture is horrific at least 3 Dads with kids there obviously trying to get to safety, there is a picture from a little later of England fans having to jump over that fence to the right of the picture

Yes I just read that as well, Nice Ultras coming in in all black, dressed up for the affair, causing a ruckus then the police turning up, allow the Nice fans to disperse and wading in on the Poles and NI. I really hope that metro story above is a false alarm. Radio 5 covering it now and...
