Regardless of the reasons for the fallout between Gus and the club, I feel sorry for Oscar because it has got nothing to do with him.
He is stuck in the middle of a battle where one of his players was advised by influential forces to hand in a transfer request.
Negotiations, targeting and...
I would only play the players who are fighting to get in the squad and if I were Oscar I wouldn't be spending any time trying to fit him in our game play or teach him anything.
Spending time working with March, Ince, JFC, Chickson, Obika and the rest of the squad is time well spent, not Bridcutt.

By handing in a transfer request I can understand why we have the focusing issue with him now but it has been self inflicted.

I would take £3.5m for Bridcut and Buckley tomorrow.
Any players that Poyet wants we should let him have, and in hindsight his first offer was probably a fair one considering no one esle has made a bid.
Unfortunately a player is only worth what someone is prepared to pay, and if there is no competition from any other club to sign him it is difficult to claim he is of a much higher value than the current best offer.
No there is a difference, Jones wants to give playing time to the players he knows are focussed and will definately still be here.
This thread makes it sound like Liam ruled himself out.
