    Bridcutt "not focused enough"

Regardless of the reasons for the fallout between Gus and the club, I feel sorry for Oscar because it has got nothing to do with him. He is stuck in the middle of a battle where one of his players was advised by influential forces to hand in a transfer request. Negotiations, targeting and...

    Bridcutt "not focused enough"

I would only play the players who are fighting to get in the squad and if I were Oscar I wouldn't be spending any time trying to fit him in our game play or teach him anything. Spending time working with March, Ince, JFC, Chickson, Obika and the rest of the squad is time well spent, not Bridcutt.

    Bridcutt "not focused enough"

I believed this to be true but some on here has said he has got a new one. If this is true I suspect his old agent would have hired a new cover agent to distance himself while still being in control.

    Bridcutt "not focused enough"

Why is that strange? it's not his job. They have got to sort it out, it has nothing to do with him.

or difficult or complicated. His words were "a little bit unsavory" if it makes a difference.

Yep maybe he was eating a boiled sweet at the time and it threw him.

    Bridcutt "not focused enough"

Good question but I would guess it probably does make a difference.

    Bridcutt "not focused enough"

I fail to see why he chose, or was advised to hand in a transfer request as this only serves to make his move publicly messy, not speed it up. By handing in a transfer request I can understand why we have the focusing issue with him now but it has been self inflicted. We also have to...

Brighton: Liam Bridcutt transfer saga 'unsavoury' - Keith Andrews more................ "I can understand it but it hasn't been nice for anybody; the club, Liam and the way it has been dealt with. "There are issues with a former manager trying to get him. It's been a little bit unsavoury, I...

    Bridcutt "not focused enough"

I think it’s best to cut his umbilical cord his job is done here and we can invest in some players without the Poyet baggage.

    Bridcutt "not focused enough"

I would take £3.5m for Bridcut and Buckley tomorrow. Any players that Poyet wants we should let him have, and in hindsight his first offer was probably a fair one considering no one esle has made a bid.

He should have gone to Specsavers.

    Bridcutt "not focused enough"

Unfortunately a player is only worth what someone is prepared to pay, and if there is no competition from any other club to sign him it is difficult to claim he is of a much higher value than the current best offer.

    Bridcutt "not focused enough"

Ok I concede, I heard it differently

    Bridcutt "not focused enough"

Whatever, you obviously didn't listen to what was said on the radio.

    Bridcutt "not focused enough"

No he didn't tell Jones that, Jones said to Oscar don't pick him.
  17. symyjym

    Bridcutt "not focused enough"

No there is a difference, Jones wants to give playing time to the players he knows are focussed and will definately still be here. This thread makes it sound like Liam ruled himself out.

    Bridcutt "not focused enough"

No, Jones said to Oscar he didn't think he was focussed. Slightly different from Liam saying it.
