Some of us have a life apart from monitoring NSC 16 hours a day. If you search the archives on here there is a thread from 1st February 2013 implying that Swansea made a £5M bid and a post of the tweet from the NSC twitter account so basically you have to decide if Bozza has made it up instead...
Buckley doesn't do more than two stepovers and only goes to ground when there is contact and a foul has been committed. He has a habit of over exerting himself running at pace down the wing and doing his hamstrings in. He is alright if you only need a winger for 25 games a season.
Diving in the penalty box and tricking the ref into awarding a penalty isn't a skill to be proud of. In the Premier League you cannot get away with six stepovers in a row and then tripping over your own feet.
Palace did it over the summer , put in bids they knew would be rejected so they could appease the fans by saying they identified over 250 potential targets and put forward bids on them but got turned down.
If Bolassie leaves (is there potential interest from Fiorentina ?) you need Buckley as a replacement. The fee for Bolassie would cover the fee for Buckley.
