Possibly. A big problem is he is being played as a lone striker (backup for Calvert-Lewin) in a very direct style of football. It’s just not his game at all, so without a change of scenery/tactics plus a return of confidence he may even struggle in the Championship.

Agree, and I think he’ll bag 10-15 easily in the Championship. His only “out” to stay in the PL would be a likely pay cut to sign with one of the new boys. I can somehow see him in a Burnley shirt. I think he’ll still be there this time next year, that’s my gut feeling
