Nah, that's not the same. There's an obvious, ad-libbed "come on" in that Pale Waves video. With Goldfrapp last night, there was literally zero deviation in the vocal from the recording. Only speaking was between tracks. Also... there were no leads in the back of the keyboard, no lights...

Didn't get around to watching that. I see now that many were accusing her of miming. Went to see her at Somerset House last night. She and the musicians were 100% miming. So, so poor!

I used to think it was a shame that the BBC coverage doesn't truly represent Glastonbury. But given the reaction by (some) 6 Music followers to Billy Nomates, it's probably for the best...

Yeah, there's a massive expectation around the headliners now - especially with the streaming and media coverage. Anyone who goes knows that Pyramid stage headliners don't really matter - that there's dozens of others things to choose from. And anyone who's never been doesn't believe them!
