It happens on the "battlefield".........on both sides. The rules that are put in by the people that are not on the front line are continuously broken. I wonder if the same punishment is implemented when a British soldier is murdered......on the "battlefield".

What i do condone is the rules of engagement being implemented by people that are not on the front line and against opposition that do not adhere to these rules. I can only imagine that after being trained to be a Marine, serving on many tours, and seeing his comrades killed and their limbs...

Rules in war?? i daresay the rules are broken daily, i daresay the Marine had seen some terrible things happening to his colleagues....thankfully i am not in that godforsaken hole, thankfully i am not trained to kill and then get banged up for doing just that.

Good post imo. I think if i'd witnessed my my colleagues being blown up and parts of their bodies being strung up from trees in full sight, then i might act accordingly.

I signed it a while back. If i had a few different accounts, then i would have signed it a few more times as well.
