I agree totally. I feel the problem has been, and this is nationally in general and not yourself, the implication that a large amount of LEAVE voters were ignorant of their cause and now regret it.
Merely in the name of dignity, I would accept the concept that it was a simple democratic referendum to decide IN or OUT. Semantics and legalities should be irrelevant.
