Totally different discussion to the post I was replying to (408) about how Miss Daisy would perform well in a Merc, but yeh happy to open a new one
Edit just for clarity .... I thought the post I was replying to comparing Bottas to Miss Daisy was ill informed and inaccurate.
As I understand...
Really slow though. I can't remember which turn it is, it's a sharp turn quite early in the lap, Watching them on that resembled my nan trying to get a Bentley out of a multi-storey car park. They just couldn't accelerate. I hope they can make major improvements to that, as it looks shocking
Not read through the reaction to the race, but did anyone think all the cars are noticeably more sluggish than last year's, especially out of the turns. I know they are actually slower, but I didn't think it would be so much you could visibly see it. Was that just me?
Personally I don't think...
I think Ferrari will give them 3 or 4 races and will give preference to the one who starts the best. Both will know the importance of a good start to the season and I imagine will give each other no quarter. Now where's my popcorn!
Genuinely excited to see how all these different approaches the team's have taken match up with each other. I'm sure they will all merge together in time, but hoping the order gets really mixed up. And yes, with Red Bull battling with Haas and Alfa. A bit wishful I'd say.
We'll only really...
