Been enjoying the return of the snow over here for the last week by getting the fat bike out. Added in a little bushwhacking (bikewhacking?) too after losing the trail for a while.

The list of wanted bikes is definitely a long one!

TBF I felt dirty writing that. I think the Mrs and I both need gravel bikes. She just needs convincing.

I think I'm almost sold on the 900 - and I don't even need another bike!

Interesting to hear that about the Salsa. Is this your first from them? I nearly went with a Salsa Mukluk before committing to a Borealis Flume. Very happy with the choice, as my Borealis came in lighter and with more favourable standard gearing. Really helps as I live near the top of many...

Haha, it's a good job I'm not a bona fide Canadian! It's worse... born in Shoreham and 'raised' in Lancing! Though the power of the beast is happily all yours! Open to some route suggestions though! 50-100km, some hills, away from roads...?

An update on this for anyone that ever knows of anyone needing bike hire. Very few options in Brighton! Brighton Beach Rides offer daily bike rentals, but they cannot be kept overnight. Accommodating and good selection though! The place in Stamner Park needs a return each night too. Beacon...
