Okay - I'll give you that... agreed. Do you think he would have been enough of a difference tonight Drew? For me he's been 80% of the player from last year... which, granted, is still vastly superior to many.
Glad we lost? What are you on about?
I have never, and will never, be glad we lost.
Suggesting this performance, however, was not related to Saturday's (not forgetting their impressive victory!) is frankly laughable. I don't believe in coincidence.
But I do believe we, the team and sections...
Apology accepted.
it's the first time I've ever been right, about anything! Give a guy a break.
Heh heh.
Still some people were quick to judge. Too quick.
Oh well.
I can't help about the shape I'm in,
I can't sing I ain't pretty and my legs are thin,
But don't ask me what I think of you...
I might not give the answer that you want me to...
Now when I talk to God you know he understands,
He said stick by me and I'll be your guidin' hand,
But...
I agree with this really - I do. It's nice to see so many reasoned a well written slants on this particular match and the general picture of things moving forward. Better than clever digs and writing stuff that doesn't form a legitimate argument, merely designed to get a good thumbing from yer '...
I appreciate it's the last resort retort, but I suddenly came to the realisation that I'd let him get away with knobbing around my threads for way too long.
Let battle commence.
I agree, but MK Dons were hardly going to attract a huge following. Indeed the early rounds, for a club like us at home, can (sadly - due to the cost of football etc.) be this way. We all know however that if we'd beaten Lincoln and drawn Man Utd at home we'd have seen a very different looking...
No, I'd like to go up - what's with you, huh? You seem determined to be a prick.
Anyway if we go up, with our current spending power we're Stoke II, so we're not likely (last year accepted) to win it. I just hope Tony gets a return on his huge and magnificent re-birth of the club.
The point...
I think, the gist is, if we go up... We're never likely to win the premier league, so why bother.
The FA cup however will become suddenly re-relevant.
That's why I can't let it go, this and Lincoln had other priorities too... like winning the National League, did they prioritise returning to...
I suppose 'tis indeed a new dawn today, one of grim acceptance of defeat, and onward to the more decisive encounter... We hold the high ground, lest we become encircled and besieged... In the temple of Mithras I doth kneel and pray... To the power of the Gods of yore I call... As it is surely...
One last one... I agree that singling out young players for criticism/insults is totally unfair. I agree that there is no place for creating an individual scapegoat. Truth be told, the young players were let down badly by an insipid display from the so called 'first teamers' who turned up and...
Fair points, but nothing can take away the result. A truly awful one, given the supposed gulf in 'class' between the two squads on the day.
Whether I was there or nay... off floating in a hot air balloon, quaffing champagne from a flute of the olde Gods... the performance was dire, the media...
Hi Drew, i believe in momentum. They have it, we no don't. Murray and Norwood and Hemed will most likely play a part. I sincerely hope I'm wrong, but I think we'll lose come Thursday... then our 'performance' of yesterday will be bitterly relevant to so many more than today.
I'd rather have won...
