Why is everyone calling them 'corporates'? They're just good seats in the centre of the stadium with access to a lounge. Friends got me one in the East for the England women's match and they're really good, so treating my dad and me to a pair for this game. Its nice not having to queue for a...
There's also a handful of nice seats in the North now. Could this mean they've started to open the exchange? Can't see any other reason why there's suddenly blocks of 3 and 4 available in the North.
Cheers mate, thanks for the civil conversation, I hope I'm not coming over too arsey. Hopefully once the bunting is up and we've beaten Man Utd and Ansu Fati has wowed us and anyone can get a ticket we'll shift the remaining tickets very easily and the exchange will open
I like to...
I just think its worth being a member full stop, its our club and this a way for being part of it even if we can't go regularly.. There could be more benefits I guess, but its not a lot of money, and if / when we get to the knockouts, or get back to Wembley, or have some incredibly important...
I presume your ticket is in a better part of the ground than the south corners, so it would be more likely to sell. So if they listed it - and the many hundreds like it - now, they would sell quickly and the club would be left with unsold tickets in the south. I think its reasonable for the club...
But the game isn't selling out? If there's no-one to buy the ticket then the seat stays empty, regardless of what you do. If the game does sell out then the exchange will open.
Its been paid for with a big discount based on committing to multiple games. Its not yours to then sell on or give away for free. I'm only available to go to one game, so I paid the full price for that game. Maybe I can justify giving mine away on that basis, but it doesn't apply to season...
Aren't you basically just suggesting that the club give any unsold tickets away for free? Its a nice idea and all that, but if I'd known that would be the case I wouldn't have bought mine earlier and instead waited for the freebee
Well, I guess maybe it wasn't the best thing you and your mate buying the 3- match package then  Anyway the ticket office can probably move him so he can sit with the other guy.
Club makes a load of money regardless, i just think people who bought these packages got heavily discounted...
I can't imagine there's many regular fans who aren't members, so don't expect purchase history to shift many more. Imagine it will get to open sale eventually.
But he can buy a ticket from tomorrow morning, so hopefully the beer sellers will be happy AND the club will make more money. So win-win really
Think club might be getting concerned about the sales, there is now a massive banner header on the website advertising tickets for sale for this game.
As of Tuesday morning tickets are available for supporters with purchase history only.
Yeah, you're probably right. The crowd felt huge and it's gone down in folklore, but those were the numbers, i just checked. So guess have to go back to when the South stand was a terrace for when we got crowds higher than today, early/mid 70s? Before my time I'm afraid.
Yeah sure, we don't have the huge support of the bigger clubs and northern football towns, but it's growing all the time. I think that Palace attendance, as disappointing at it was at the time, was a blip, wouldn't be repeated now.
In the last 30 years we've gone from 15,000 on the crumbling...
Yeah, the way he writes that is ridiculous, need never be embarrassed about our turnouts.
Having said that i was surprised at the low attendance for that Palace game, and a lot of people missed a really good game.
Still the only Amex victory I've seen since we got promoted
