Red Bull should have done exactly what Alpine did when they left Ocon in no doubt that he'd be in deep shit if he didn't let Alonso past without a fight. That was a very threatening radio conversation and even though Ocon clearly didn't agree he did follow the instruction. What Max did was...
Well done George, well done Lewis and Mercedes
Max showing himself up for the classless **** he is.
He also shits himself when racing Lewis, went back to head mental **** when he couldn’t get past at the start. 5 second penalty was nowhere near enough
That Sprint race was up there with the most thrilling racing this season. Mercs are nearly back, Verstappen was hindered by front wing damage but even so it was great to see him overtaken and George and Lewis did really well. Seems Max has matured, raced hard but no kamikaze moves.
Excited for...
That was so dull, easy win for Max but I find it strange that Mercedes didn’t try different strategies for Lewis and George. Their strategy was as dull as the race and bring George in just to get fastest lap when he was begging to go long on mediums and then switch to softs. Red Bull not only...
I think most had worked this out, other than those who were insistent that Hamilton was over the hill and Russell was a better driver from the off at Mercedes. No names, no pack drill
Or maybe he's just lying :shrug...
I really enjoyed some of that race. Max reminds me of Lewis in his prime these days, quickest car, total belief and hardly ever makes mistakes. I was surprised that Lewis’ hard tyres went off and Max’s mediums didn’t during the closing stages. Seb rolled back the years, Fernando made the mistake...
I don’t think you’re a big Red Bull fan, I think you are a big fan of anyone who beats Lewis Hamilton :lolol:
You have been filling your boots this season!
Helmut Marko is such a classless helmet with his digs
"Max is now a much more relaxed driver and much more mature, he will continue to look for performance and to improve, although he is not like Hamilton, he is not a record chaser."
I doubt Hamilton was when he had just the two titles, and...
Hopefully a big manufacturers points deduction to put Ferrari and Merc ahead of them. 300 should do it, hit them in the pocket, unfair to penalise drivers
Are your surprised? I don’t think I’ve EVER heard Mouldy accept that he is or could be wrong
I think the suggestions that Lewis as the experienced driver was charged with trying different things to turn a dog of a car which was up there with the worst on the grid earlier in the season. Russell...
Any of you watched The Race To Perfection on Sky?
Story of 70 years of F1. Fascinating and well worth a watch if you’re an F1 fan
Loved the Hesketh and Hunt coverage, so very British and amusing. I had thought Hesketh was a chinless wonder entitled buffoon. He very definitely isn’t!
