Nope, still struggling to have an ounce of sympathy for this killer pilot. No amount of comparing him to other ordinary people with mental problems who haven't gone on a killing spree is going to change my mind.
All my sympathy goes to the very unfortunate passengers and their very distraught...
There is a comment earlier in this thread that he could have gone to his local airport, taken a small aircraft and killed just himself, so why would he choose to take 150 people with him if he wasn't an evil ****?
Sign of the times, people trying to justify the unjustifiable. I really don't care what the reasons are, the guy killed 150 people and flew that plane with the intention of killing them. Cold blooded killer imo. Frankly unbelievable that you can sympathise with him or try to justify his actions.
I sympathise with people who have mental health issues, it is life destroying but am unable to reconcile this with having any sympathy with this murderer. Cold blooded killer and his mental state does not excuse it in any way.
Oh but it is. I often see one of the pilots on BA flights having a chat with the flight attendants in the galley at the front of an Airbus A320/319 on flights to and from Toulouse, Often getting a cup of coffee, or taking the cup back. Not uncommon at all. In fact they often come out and chat...
