    [Albion] Neal Maupay...SIGNED FOR EVERTON.

Quite. Although Maupay is a Championship player at best. The fact that Lampard is not even up to that standard is clearly a major problem for Everton. They’re in a world of trouble.

Nothing to do what I think about Undav, it's pretty obvious that's what the coaches think. And to be a pedant, I was at Reading and Espanyol so yes I have seen him play.

    [Albion] Neal Maupay...SIGNED FOR EVERTON.

Why? He’s played 0 minutes out of 360 so far this season. We play 1 real centre forward these days and he’s probably 3rd or 4th choice at best after Welbeck, Undav and probably Trossard. Not to mention Ferguson. We don’t need him, personally I don’t think he’s good enough for this team...

Guessing Everton have given up on Che Adams then, Hassenhuttl was pretty clear he wasn’t going anywhere. That is a great move for Neal. I know Everton are crap at the moment and they have a really poor manager but they are a big club, bigger than most including probably Maupay himself thought...

Yep, life comes at you fast in the PL! Just 2 years ago they had Ancelotti in charge with Richarlison and DCL up front and James Rodriguez just behind them Now they've got 'Tim Sherwood with A Levels' in charge and a potential strike force of two Brighton rejects with Alex Iwobi behind them!

They have made some good signings and also have a better manager than Fulham had previously. I said before the season, I think Forest will be fine.

Neal Maupay...What Does He Actually Do? No, Leicester need to shift some players so they definitely won’t be stopping outgoings. That’s the reason why they’re not buying anyone, they’re not in financial difficulty as such but their squad is too big (and expensive) and they’ve not been able to...

    [Albion] Neal Maupay...SIGNED FOR EVERTON.

Makes sense, think it is the right time for him and us to move on. Will always be grateful for the memories. £15m plus add ons is a decent price to get with less than a year left on his contract. Rather than new players though, please can we now invest those funds in new contracts for Trossard...

He's frustrated the shit out of me at times but I would be gutted to see him go. And he will always be one of my heroes for those last minute Palace and Saints goals last season.

Neal Maupay...What Does He Actually Do? In answer to the OP’s question, today - mis control the ball, give the ball away, make poor runs, get in his team mates way. So frustrating to watch, he’s a level below his team mates. As a former Albion player said to me today, he’s a Championship striker.

Great finish tonight. He does a job for us without doubt and he’s important to us because of a lack of alternatives, but personally I think he’s a weak link technically in an otherwise technically excellent side. I think Welbeck is a much better player.

Neal Maupay...What Does He Actually Do? About expected for him in his role in this side isn’t it and pretty much what you can see in the games? Nothing out of the ordinary i’d say. Lallana interesting - he’s not been getting the credit he deserves for this aspect of his game. Biss impressive...

    [Albion] Neal Maupay...SIGNED FOR EVERTON.

2 goals from open play, another 1 from a penalty and 0 assists in his last 20 Premier League games. That’s not a good look for him. When you add in how much we have had the ball and the chances we’ve created in those games, it’s damning. I don’t know how he can be defended. Someone else...

I agree that we don’t have a great choice, to say the least, but clearly it’s not working with Maupay starting so why not try something else be that Tau or Zeqiri. They honestly couldn’t do any worse. And Connolly does desperately need a loan, it’s painful watching him. I feel to keep going...

    [Albion] Neal Maupay...SIGNED FOR EVERTON.

Yet he's only got 1 assist and only created 4 'big chances' all season despite the level of possession and chances we create every match. He is our main attacker and yet in the area we need him most - creating and scoring chances - he's just not contributing enough at the moment. Like you, I'm...

    [Albion] Neal Maupay...SIGNED FOR EVERTON.

Last night was clearly not mainly down to Maupay but in the cold (sober) light of day, I do think he really does need a break from the starting 11 for a bit and Welbeck or Connolly (Welbeck would be my personal choice) need to start a run of games so they can get a bit of form and fitness and to...

    [Albion] Neal Maupay...SIGNED FOR EVERTON.

What he does do quite often is get in the way of our attacks and promising positions. He is the opposition’s best defender at times. His lack of intelligence and spacial awareness is so frustrating at times.

Was crap tonight. I’ve said for a while I think it will be like the Ryan situation, ultimately the stats will catch him up and we’ll offload him in the summer and sign an upgrade. 4 goals from open play all season from your main striker, for a side who create as many chances as we do is just...
