My guess is that there is a £6m threshold with Stephens. Beyond that we are risking an unsettled player who wants higher level football and also resources that will not be available later.

£4 million is probably a sensible evaluation. But no club should consider sensible evaluations when selling players to First Division teams these days. I don't think it can go much higher though given the contract situation.
