The more I read about Duffy I wonder is he an improvement on Greer? He is younger but is he more mobile and as good positioning wise., I wonder. I do not see spending in excess of £3m for him when we have 3 good CB when all fit plus Hall and Dallison learning the ropes.

I would think that he has kept himself basically fit while looking for another contract, probably his last, and his experience will see him through knowing where to be at the right time so as to not be exposed.

I have said it before I would offer Haangerland a 1 yr contract to cover while our other CBs get back up to fitness and Hall and Dallison prove their worth and that they are ready for the step up. He could do for us now what Upson did.

Wouldnt have expected much else at his age and with his recent record of playing for Liverpool. Its sad to see a good player who has gone down hill with age perhaps should have gone to MLS.
