Reading Ian Holloway's championship prediction for sky on the Reading v Albion match today, he says Tomer Hemed is the signing of the season. He works hard and and is a decent player but he's hardly prolific in front of goal. I was wondering what other Albion fans think.

Does anybody know why the Club have stopped announcing the subs for? Wolves was the third home game in a row. How are the fans supposed to know who the subs are?

Poyet and now Oscar, who are very good young managers, have both become disillusioned with Playing budget and set up at the club, ending in their departure. The problem being now is, no matter how good or experienced the new manager is, is he not going to get disillusioned for the same reasons?

To give a little perspective on our season, last season 68 points would have secured 6th place and 72 points 5th place. If Wigan can slip up away to Birmingham they still have Blackburn away last match. :bhasign:

What does this 3.1 defeat for Forrest say about our result there last week. By all accounts we were dreadful and with as much cutting edge in the last third as a banana. Yet with an injury depleted squad we still come away with a point. I hope we get behind the lads Monday.

Reading the argus today, seems like the Albion are happy to stick with Ankergren and Brezovan as our main keepers. I would like to see us bring in a new keeper and maybe keep Brezovan as a back up. We do need to strengthen in this department surely.

If we defended today like I know we can, L'pool might have been in trouble today. Their first four goals we should have been able to deal with and the other two were game over anyway. We are better than that. Unlucky lads, learn from it.

Is the East Stand going to have it's upper seating deck installed when the stadium opens, and how many seats could this deck hold.

It's ok saying Slade must go but lets stop and think who would replace him. This club struggled to find a suitable replacement when Micky got the chop. There seems to be a lot of people who seem to think Coppell is the answer, but there's no guarantee he wants the job.

Is it me or is does anyone else want to see Smith get a run in the first team. Kuipers is and always will be a legend at the Albion but there is more to a modern keeper than just shot stopping.
