According to the Telegraph, Bruno has secretly left Chelsea. Is he still the Club Legend I regard him as, or the traitor many seem to believe? Is he welcome at the Amex?
Is there any chance of the Semi Final being shown at The Amex? Much as we would like to go to Wembley it simply isn’t possible but don’t really want to watch just sitting by ourselves in our sofa.
I have probably missed this but it has been suggested to me that England World Cup matches will be shown in one of the Amex lounges. I can’t see any mention of this but does anyone know if it is happening?
I have clearly missed something.
Why has the match been moved to the most inconvenient day imaginable of it is not being shown on TV according to the Albion Pre match update?
Daily Telegraph, not my paper of choice, reports that the Government are looking at safe standing and may introduce trials at some Premier League grounds this season. Might the Amex be included or will it be just the top six Clubs who have installed some sit/stand areas?
If we are included...
The Club is clearly anxious that fans should not linger in the concourses longer than necessary. However, alcohol will still be served in the concourse bars but it must be consumed before going to seats. Is this the time to press the point that good sense would allow fans to go to their seats...
I don’t know how to post a link but there is a long article in the Telegraph by Jamie Carragher saying how highly rated Potter is both statistically and personally for his managerial skills. It is quite salutary to understand how he is perceived by those who know football best and how irrelevant...
Is it just me, but I just can’t get worked up about football at the moment.
I am watching the England game but can’t really feel any passion for the match or result. I don’t know exactly why, whether it is no crowd, not being able to go to matches, the virus itself.
A sending off and penalty...
Does anyone know what is happening regarding TV for the matches on Sunday. I assume they are all being televised and you would think the TV companies must have agreed by now who is covering each match but I can’t find any info. If we are on BT I have some quick arrangements to make.
Just watching Chelsea v West Ham and wondered about the origin of Claret and Blue as a club strip. It is an unlikely colour combination.. Does anyone know how did it come to be adopted by so many football clubs when so many more obvious combinations are not used?
Has it been said how this will work?
Different countries are going to finish this season, and presumably start next season, at different times. Will it be a short window whilst no-one is playing, or will the window overlap some Leagues? Could there be different windows for domestic and...
I have much sympathy with the view that neutral grounds should only be accepted if relegation would not follow. However, I also understand that this would result in matches becoming somewhat meaningless.
Would a compromise be that the bottom three Clubs remain in the Premier League, but start...
Sky reports Albion’s Paul Barber has come out against the PL proposal to finish season in neutral stadiums behind closed doors. I think that is great news and great that PB reflects what I believe to be the fans’ view.
I become prouder of our Club, and those who run it, as the days pass.
I am sorry if this has been aired on another thread but I couldn’t find it.
Recent publication said the some BHA players are on £50k per week, obviously those at larger clubs are on hugely more. Do you think this will be a watershed in addressing the disparity between top level football and...
I would like to recommend a new series on Netflix. Written by Julian Fellowes it follows the earliest days of Football and its evolution from a Gentlemen’s game played by the Toffs as out and out amateurs, to the development of working class teams in the Mill Towns.
Binged watched first four...
