[Football] The Europa League & USG

Sorry if fixtures, and I realise there is a lot of football still to play but what happens if we and USG both qualify for Europa League? As both clubs are owned by TB the rules are we cant both be in the competition? As I say a nice problem to have, probably.

[Football] Police to 'visit 1,000 homes' in MASSIVE crackdown on illegal Premier League streaming

I'm convinced this story is complete rubbish and probably paid for by Sky/BT etc. Their talk of 'cutting edge digital tactics' stinks of modern day 'detector van' propaganda that was well establish lies. Id wager they have very limited (if at all) ability to know who's streaming and who isn't...

[Albion] new away fan ID/ticketing system

I read it that some will be held at the away ground and only those will be checked. Therefore if you receive yours in the post then you know you wont be checked.

[Misc] Suggestions to save energy this winter…

When I lived in a house share about 15 years ago we used to do this game where the first person to put the heating on was crowned the pu**y of the house and was referred to as such during the winter. Ever since then I always push myself to leave it as late as possible to put the heating on, so...

[Finance] Don't Pay - Energy Bill Strike Movement

This may well be next. Is it really too much for people to be able to eat and be warm?

[Finance] Don't Pay - Energy Bill Strike Movement

Around 60-90 days I imagine. But if you have an active complaint, then they have to resolve this first.

[Finance] Don't Pay - Energy Bill Strike Movement

Apologies if fixtures, but this civil disobedience movement is growing fast ahead of the anticipated c80% increased in energy bills from October 1st. I really hope millions get behind this and force the government to act. https://dontpay.uk/ Millions of us won’t be able to afford food and...

[Politics] Goring Gap High Court challenge today

It should be required for planning permission though. In order to give permission for more housing the infrastructure should have the capacity FIRST. Its a bit like having a child and only realising after they are born that you need clothes, baby food, a cot etc.

[Politics] Goring Gap High Court challenge today

The lack of investment in infrastructure is the biggest issue with these new build estates. Sounds great housing 1500 people until there's no GP or dentists appointments anymore, and you cant drive down the road without sitting in traffic for half an hour. Not to mention they pack these houses...

[Help] Sky/BT Sports & Broadband Haggle

This is just crazy. As you said you don't own the box so why are you responsible for its repair etc? Luckily i'd never had a problem but there's no way I would have paid for repairs / a new box etc if it was needed to obtain the service. I suspect this is something they try and get away with...

[Help] Sky/BT Sports & Broadband Haggle

I just found that we very very rarely ever watched things live with our busy lifestyle at the moment. Always plenty to watch on demand so its a nice little saving. For live Albion games, i'll either be there if its at home or at the pub / round a mates if its on Sky/BT.

[Help] Sky/BT Sports & Broadband Haggle

I cancelled in Feb after over 10 years with them after the best price they could offer was a 15% increase. Didnt get a single offer to stay so I'd agree with this. We decided to change to watching things on demand now (excluding BBC iPlayer) which has allowed us to cancel TV licence too saving...
