Battersea Park 1/2 done in 1:23 sunday. Battling a few niggles so very much feet up now until next Sunday. Did the same race a little quicker last time when I got 3:00:18 so a little disappointing but very small margins. Well done to all those who did brighton. I went to watch and was very...
Very much so. Also FHP and Lamb at 7 & 8 are very handy indeed. Problem this year (especially with the change of ball) will be bowling teams out. But we’re certainly in a better place this year than last
Went down yesterday. Very early days but some promising signs. Hunt looks decent and am always a fan of a left armer in any team. Crocombe still looks wild though. Lamb I think will turn out to be a great signing - the sort of all rounder we should have been signing for years. FHP very useful too
2:13 for me to today at Hillingdon 20 miler. Avg speed bang on target but did fall off a tiny bit at the end (first 3k I went off too fast). Overall pretty happy and the sub 3 goal is still alive!
All systems go for me in prep for London Marathon. Hoping I can find the 19 seconds I need to break 3 hours! Volume wise training is going ok but finding it hard to get in much speed work. Looking forward to running the race though for the first time and experiencing the atmosphere
if no trains you can get the subway out to the end of the A line (stop is Anagnina) and get bus from there. Its about 20 mins on the subway and ten min bus
07:00 train from Rome to Naples on the friday morning. our flight is at 10:20 i think. And there's some things published re guaranteed trains but i dont think that one is on there
Wow that was a stressful morning but all sorted now. Stansted to Naples then same on way back with 1hr10 train to get to Rome. Whole thing inc accommodation came out at just over 300pp. Probably could have got better but was slightly frazzled by the end of it so glad to get sorted
