Thought about going last year but didn't and seriously tempted this year....Sunday looks like a particularly good line up. Any NSCers been before, would be good to know what's it's like before we book ?

Is on at the Theatre Royal on Sunday evening. Any other NSCers going to see the great man?. He is pure genius in my opinion.

I hate all this bullshit speculation but just heard from a mate who is well connected at the club and reckons Lampard as player manager is a done deal. He is usually reliable but I cannot guarantee it this time. Just wondering if anyone else has heard this ?.

So many to choose from. 10 of us going up so a good pre match drinking session in prospect. Somehow we always end up starting in the Kings Head....and quite often we don't move although a trip to the Market Porter might be on the cards this time. Where is everyone else drinking ?.

Apologies if fixtures, but did anyone see what happened when it seemed to briefly kick off in the second half between the two benches ? . It looked like one of their lot got sent off and from what I could see one of our Spaniards was getting rather excited.

Looking forward to the Middlesex game this Friday (taking clients , corporate). Got tickets for the Aussies on the Saturday (pavilion, non corporate). Planning several other trips. To be honest, after recent events, nice have the chance to forget about the Albion for a while.

Any other NSCers going to see Edwyn Collins at St Georges Church the week after next ?. I was a big Orange Juice fan back in the day (yes , we are in old fart territory here)and really looking forward to this one. Edwyn has been very unwell in recent years but the reviewers reckon the new album...

Tickets went on sale on Friday and likely to sell out fast. Any other NSCers going......I know quite a few of us went to the Concorde dates last year.

In 40 years of watching the Albion, there havent been many occasions that I wished I was somewhere else but the 5-0 defeat at Selhurst is one. A 4-0 midweek drubbing at Brentford a few years back is another. Anyone else care to chip in ?.

Anyone else like this guy. I first encountered him while in Oz when he was doing Spick & Speck. Really enjoyed his Last Leg show for the Paralympics and his recent stand up show on Ch 4. His alternative Christmas Message on Ch 4 this afternoon was a wonderful reflection on the past year. A class...

Thursday at the Dome ...really looking forward to this one.

Have always had a lot of time for him but his post match interview on the League show was concerning. Not often you see a manager not make little or any eye contact with the interviewer/camera but he didn`t and seemed completely shell shocked. Out of his depth ?.

Had a lot of difficulty getting these off the website but finally last week got tickets for the Athletics in the Olympic Stadium next Saturday (morning session). Really looking forward to it . Anyone else on NSC got tickets ?. Anyone else already been , if so any useful info ?.

The behaviour of their fans at the Amex last season was an absolute disgrace. Do we follow the example of other clubs and reduce their allocation ?. The fact it is Boxing Day this year might help (and a bit of common sense policing might not go amiss ! ) but do we need more than that ...

Any other NSCers going to see the great man next week ?. I have a feeling that the Centre will be full of people of a certain age (ie. my age !). I think this will be my 7th time watching EC and he has never disappointed. Looking forward to a few interesting cover versions and lots of old...

Best : Wrexham , although Brum were pretty good today. Worst : Watford. If you cant make a noise when you are 2-0 up away from home you never will.
