Bring it on - it is my local PR so I should have an advantage. Saying that each time I do it I'm regretting it by the 3rd lap.

How about The Great South Run? It's in Southsea/Portsmouth & you get to run through the Royal Dockyard passing HMS Victory etc. It may be the week before Bright10 though. October seems a popular month to run 10 miles!

The influx of the juniors has been quite recent - impressive running from them as well. I sometimes venture to Tilgate. It's a lovely course with the lake & the wide paths plus it's all downhill or flat after the halfway marker. Best time there is 19:57 - on our promotion day!!

**lurker alert** I ran a strong 20:16 at Clair on Saturday..... One day I will get sub 20 on this tight and hilly course!
