OK, say there is truth in this, what do we think? Would mean that Frank thought a ceiling had been reached at Brentford whereas he could go higher with Brighton. Clearly a good manager. A sensible appointment I would reckon. Keramik perhaps?

IF we were looking for a new manager, I would be absolutely delighted if it was Frank, he is a top manager. I would have thought he would be high on the list of bigger clubs looking for a manager.

He’s worked wonders at Brentford and was seriously considered by Liverpool due to the fact that he’s such an intelligent coach who has done brilliantly but also who has different ways of playing depending on the players he has available.

This season they have had worse injuries than us with a smaller, weaker squad and the Toney absence to contend with.

I don't think its mad that Thomas Frank would be on our shortlist of managers. And he's been there six years - eight years if you include his time as assistant - might be thinking time for a change. What other teams above Brentford in the premier league might be looking for a new manager?
Not mad that he would be on the shortlist, I would be surprised if he was at the top of it though. Ticks the Souness "knows our game" box I suppose.

He's a very vanilla and presentable yes man and a reasonable coach for sure.

Id prefer if we get another fox in the hen house, to push Bloom and Barber as RDZ did.

Certainly hope that Frank isn't just a smiling public face to contine with a sell the family jewells model.

Three years left on his Brentford contract, combined with the Bloom/Benham dynamic, makes this highly, highly unlikely.

But, even setting that aside, he's always struck me as being a bit of a knob, so nah.

This one kind of makes sense to me.

- bloom will want a nice guy next, more of a yes man as others have said

- frank has a decentish record in the league, investment in the team has been minimal and no Toney most of the season, so understandable theyve been pretty rubbish.

- Frank has been at Brentford a long time. Maybe time for a change for him.

- Benham is selling a controlling stake. Maybe he wants someone sexier in charge to speak more interest.

Saying all that, if RDZ turns up at the fans forum tonight and is talking about next season then this rumour would be a bit odd.

What Bozza said. Like, he's literally written my exact opinion. It's uncanny.

As well as being an insufferable bellend, that guy cannot write for toffee.

As for the topic itself, yet more media interpretation of what's going on at the club, with an added dose of hyperbole for good measure.

Berk.
You mean he hasn't smashed it?

Setting him being a bit of a knob aside, when did a manager's contract or the board not wanting him to leave ever stop a manager leaving if he wanted to go?
