The persons I feel most sorry for are Paul Barber and co. The insufferable tedious unimportant repetitive questions he nobley engages every year from total bores who love the sound of their own voices and have nothing better to do, is alone why he deserves every penny he earns.

Good luck Paul, you’re the mustard.

Maybe they’re going to top the Gus sacked on air moment by sacking RDZ at a fans forum. Or maybe he will strop off when Mavis from Hassocks (who by the way has been a season ticket holder for 62 years and would like to thank Dick Knight) demands the return of flasks in the West Lower because her husband Cyril needs hydrating.

Is this a new event? I don't remember us ever having one before?

I think fans forums are a total waste of time typically, but the timing of this is strange. Hard not to think it will coincide with an announcement on his future, either leaving us or signing a new contract (unlikelh

Each Joan or Brian warms up with a [spoken very slowly] time-wasting mini speech thanking the directors, manager and players, capped with an unconvincing “Living the dream”.

A collective arse-licking statement at the start of the event would allow more Q&A’s.

Yes, have we ever had one at the end of the season before? I don't recall one.

Usually these are at the beginning of the season when everyone is excited about new kits and new signings. Or, er, if we are going to leave a man back from corners?

Having one at the end of a season that has fizzled out a bit is curious, i think. Especially with the speculation over RDZ's future

They are not going to announce his leaving at a fans' forum, shirley, nah...not going to happen ...😬

It makes more sense to hold one at the end of the season for operational suggestions. Gives the club the summer to implement them. For me extending the wireless to the P&R and train queues - quick, easy and cheap.

I’m also thinking this is a positive sign that RDZ is going to be here next season.

My question that I’d like to ask is ‘what assurances have we given Roberto regarding our transfer activity this summer?
Would it get answered? No, of course not. PB would ramble on for ten minutes about the complexities of PSR etc the importance of an absence of bottle tops and the increased revenue from the fans zone.

Can’t wait

Peter from Eastbourne giving RDZ alternative views on possession based football

Sheila, 54 from Pevensey Bay, who has been going to the Amex since it opened asking why he doesn’t always use all 5 of his subs

Roger, 74, season ticket since 1985 asking Barber what’s the transfer budget for the summer

RDZ not giving a straight answer to staying, giving a little wink and a “we will see, no” which will knock a section of the attendees bandy

Brian, 16 from Hassocks, wondering what his parents were thinking

It could just be a one page PowerPoint that gets projected during the forum 😏

Only one question:
"Roberto, when Pascal puts his arm up before he takes the corner...what does this actually mean, and is it a clever ploy from our set piece coach 🤔"

I've been analysing this, and I have come to the conclusion that it can only mean: "Get ready chaps, I'm about to deliver a set-piece that poses absolutely zero threat to the opposition".
