[Albion] Value of old Albion shirts

I've got a bunch of old Albion shirts that I'm probably going to get rid of because they've just been sitting in a box for years. Most of them are not especially rare or remarkable. The only one that might have any value is the dark blue Palookaville shirt (which is in pretty good condition). Before I whack them on eBay, does anyone have any rough idea how much that particular top would be worth?

Depending on size and condition, if it’s adult size and the sponsor is good the Palookaville shirt can sell for well over £100. If you’re going to eBay it, photograph it well and describe it well, don’t forget to include Fatboy Slim in the item description.

Good luck, Albion shirts are still a bit ‘flavour of the month’ to collectors, so if they’re good condition and adult sizes you’ll get a decent price for them.

Cheers for that! Yes, it’s an adult size which hasn’t been worn much, so it’s in pretty good condition.

While Superphil's here, and without wanting to hijack the thread, a good few years ago I bought a Spurs 1985-87 season home shirt in a charity shop for a few quid, no sponsor on it, Hummel. A few months back I tried giving it to a Gooner mate as a joke to clean his car but he wasn't interested so I held onto it. Looking online a few are listed for £300, surely that's not an accurate valuation...

If it’s in good nick, £300 sounds about right. I’m an avid ebayer, in my experience, if you list it well, good photos, good description, you’ll get the best price possible there. I’ve sold well over a thousand shirts there, and can count on the fingers of one hand the number of issues I’ve had, all of which were resolved.

That said, I can’t see for the life of me why anyone would want an old spurs shirt 😄😄

On leaving a job about 12 years ago my work colleagues bought me a Palace shirt for a prank. I literally wore it once for the obligatory photo, and then it got stashed/forgotten about in a cupboard.

I found it last week during a sort out, and the same shirts are on ebay for £80

I'm going to ring fence this money (probably for alcohol)
Just burn it - it will make you feel better than £80.

Lovely material, that. Stretchy.

Like you I won't be parting with my stash.
