For me Tre has been the stand out for all of the competition

I’m convinced Pie-man Phil is going to win it now. He lost the first NINE but somehow stayed in, then on the task where he goes if he loses Alan Sugar ‘switches the teams up’ by giving him the extra person and probably the three strongest candidates so far in Flo, Tre & Paul.

Also throughout the whole process, the narrator refers to him as Pie-man Phil. For 10 weeks, several times an episode, they’ve been promoting the future winners product and business. I don’t hear them ever refer to Financial Assistant Flo, in fact I don’t know what any of the others business proposals are, but I’m well aware Phil is the pie-man and we’ve been made fully aware of his pies!

Tom Pellerau lost 8 out of 11 tasks including his sole time as Project Manager and was still the winner because he had a product Sugar wanted a piece of - the curved nail file.

The biggest joke was that the product Tom actually invented for investment was a chair that Sugar binned off in favour of the already invented nail file. It made the whole series a complete farce as none of the other candidates ever had a chance.

This is the real issue for me; they go through a whole series then at the end Sugar turns down one or two "semi-finalists" because their business plan is no good. That being the case, they should have been excluded from the beginning - they were never going to win. Very strange - happens nearly every series.

“No good” or not as good as the others?

I thought it was more the latter

Think this has been the best competition for years.

I want Phil (their pies really are decent).

But the other 3 candidates in his team last evening are excellent.

For entertainment value along the way.

Agree that Phil is a certainty to make the final. It was very convenient to switch the teams last night given him the advantage of the “extra man”.
That said, we know the process is a bit contrived and based on the business plans Sugar likes the most. Still worth the watch and they final five seem a stronger bunch this series

How did Foluso last this long, confidence with little substance?
I thought it was spelt Fellatia?

Last night's episode was one of the worst episodes I've ever seen. Sugar makes PieMan Team leader in a team of 3 , then gives him a 4th person leaving the other team short-handed so they (inevitably) lose and 2 of the 3 bite the dust.

PieMan had an ace team around him, and even his 2 pitiful presentations and a complete absence of truffle in his product couldn't derail him, despite his best efforts.

I felt sorry for Fellatia who singlehandedly had to do branding, packaging, marketing, ad concept and acting without any props. If anyone was put under the microscope it was her.

This should have been a task for Weeks 3-5, not Week 10 with just 7 contestants left. They should have just given them the same vegan cheese and told them to brand and market it, it would have made for better telly.
