One thing puzzling me is that all four of the main attackers just got " picked up " ? True Islamist extremists would have gone down fighting. A Russian copper stopping that van with four armed terrorists isn't going to go home for dinner, they would have opened up with everything they had until shot dead.

Likewise, I didnt take that as a given, just interesting..... more so when you see the actual FSB marching a couple of the suspects out of the forest, once caught, wearing exactly the same colour blue top and blue jeans.

Or to be more concise, a radical Islamist cell is secretly working for a Jewish President that heads an Orthodox Christian country?
Ok, I've seen that capture video now, courtesy of the pro Russian Hindustan Times or somesuch and, YES "

or I saw an earlier part where the armed guy in blue top and jeans joined the soldiers in chasing the suspect.

So, what's it all about @peterward , shirley the number of identically dressed men in the concert hall, calm, taking photos, shouting across the hall to each other....it can't be nothing, it can't be coincidence.

If it wasn't a true false flag, then what the hell was it,?🤔

Ok, I get the theory now thanks.
But the guys in sweatshirts and jeans are something, IMO.
I've looked at it again and you've got me wondering Raymondo. One of the guys looked familiar - he resembled one of the
chaps who liked cathedral spires in 2018.

A quick digression:

Great eh?

And now the video's been taken down... I wonder why and who did that?

This bodycam video (crap etc) but follow it and briefly see the guy in blue sweater and jeans, with gun, chasing through the woods. I expect this video will also be removed soon:

Here's some more ... now I'll shut up and watch some footie 😎.

Looks dodgy doesnt it...... massive coincidence? Im not sure I believe in those in Russia...... it certainly has a whiff of potential FSB involvement at some level.

Again, it may be something or nothing, but I saw another video and when the gunmen are shooting everyone in the foyer, theres a single fella in yellow jacket just calmly walking away, metres from them, it just doesnt look right.

Looks VERY dodgy to me.
I believe the FSB are involved, and I'll watch NEXTA with interest to see what they come up with...errr...next.

I also saw the guy in the yellow jacket in the foyer (the venue cctv vid?), absolutely odd, just strolling by the gunmen, somehow knowing that HE would not be shot.

Out of interest, does Mrs Peterward know if this is being discussed much on Russian social media 🤔

She reads Ukrainian social media which cross reference a lot of the Russian stuff. I don't know about yellow coat, away with work since yesterday. I will ask.

It's interesting to me we attack our enemies for stating conspiracy theories about our attacks, but we aim the same conspiracy theories at our enemies.

Have you ever heard of false equivalence?

There's a bit of a difference between a deliberate policy of state sponsored conspiracy theories, planned and pre-meditated to mislead and distract their own citizens from their government's shocking behaviour, and a bunch of football fans on a football forum, trying to work out who was ultimately responsible for an atrocity.

Do you have any evidence of your theories? Other than we told you so.

Given it's pretty clear the US and UK (at least) knew this was coming a good 10 days ago and warned Russia, who seemingly didn't act on it, the more interesting question IMHO is why they seemingly ignored the threat;

A. Arrogance and not wanting to be seen listening to "the west", which has had catastrophic consequences for the population
B. Deliberately didn't act in the hope of painting the blame on Ukraine, only for the attackers to be too organised and ISIS to beat them to the punch taking the wind out of their sails

Both are pretty abhorrent situations but one is, I believe, much worse than the other.
A calculated guess on their part about what works best.

An attack like this can re-enforce the message that we (Rusia) are under attack so we need to stick together to fight it , otherwise there is more of the same, and sticking together means sticking with Putin.

In a democracy it could make him look weak but Russia is not a democracy.

I've watched it now but I still don't see why a false flag theory (or reality) could be helpful for Putin. Would Russians really think "our leader is so clever that he killed 150 citizens to make sure we support further action against Ukraine"?? I'm clearly missing something in the vlogger's argument.
Also, the video from Nexta that @peterward posted... how is it explained that the guys in the blue sweatshirts and jeans are the calm ones at the concert?
150 Russians killed is less than half the daily total killed in the war with Ukraine so it's 'low cost' but sends a very strong message - your country is under attack.

Yes, I get that it helps Putin if his citizens believe it was a terror attack, or an attack by Ukraine etc...but I think even most Russians could be appalled if evidence proved that Putin or the FSB had actually organized it.

This forum is over two years old, and contains 14,780 posts from a range of contributors, some of whom have Ukrainian wives and in-laws. Some of these relatives are living under Russian occupation.

The posts contain a huge range of information, theories, anecdotes, links to other platforms, military analysts, journalists, you name it. Some of them contain supporting evidence; some don't. All the regulars on here have been on here long enough, and know each other well enough, to trust each other not to post baseless theories.

What particular theory are you referring to? Much of the information on here is date-driven, so if you know when the event occurred, then you can search comments on that date and the days following it.

Hope this helps.

Indeed. Some have been to Ukraine to help, some have housed Ukrainians who have fled the violence. I have lived with a Ukrainian for few years and her family are still in Ukraine, so we get first hand accounts back of what's happening there.
