Yeh I’d like to watch both. Will obvs watch England but is annoying. Don’t feel the need to pop on the Welsh thread to tell everyone I won’t be watching it though 😬
Like me seeking out a Bon Jovi message board to go post on there that I don't like Bon Jovi.

I hate to say it but I’m not sure about Dunk for England. He has a great relationship with the Brighton goalkeeper, defence and midfield, and obviously knows the RDZ system inside out now. To be suddenly transplanted into another side with different players and a different coach? I dunno. I’m nervous for him.
i'm confident Dunk can level-down his skills to the England set-up. keep to basics of defense, pass into midfield, or those over the top deep passes he so good at.

Very difficult for a defender at a top level football club, who plays out from the back and is always looking for two or three options, including the keeper's support, to try and forget those skills. He has to remember, he will playing in a completely different system akin to a League Two team.

He will need to keep his wits about him - to avoid getting knocked out by one of Pickford's hoofs.

Just head it and boot it Lewis, you'll be fine

Don't f**k it, don't f**k it up, don't f**k it up, don't f**k it up, don't f**k it up...
That's what he tried in his debut, and he didn't get another cap for years.

He needs to show Southgate why he is so much better than Maguire. Spraying the ball 90 yards to the wingers toe, mazy runs out of defence and chest passes galore back to the keeper. That's what we need to see.

He's in the Standard predicted line up
Pickford; Konsa, Stones, Dunk, Chilwell; Bellingham, Rice, Mainoo; Foden, Toney, Bowen

He's not in the predicted Independent line up
Pickford; Walker, Stones, Branthwaite, Gomez; Mainoo, Rice, Bellingham; Foden, Toney, Rashford.

I think the standard line up is more likely as we know for certain Chilwell, Toney, Mainoo are starters. And Gomez isn't.

It's been mentioned by various sources on twitter, via Sky Sports as well, that he is starting alongside Stones tonight, with Konsa at RB.

GIven Independent don't have Konsa in either, sounds like they're just guessing.

Yes. Scratch my guess at being Southgate earlier . i thought he might plumb for Branthwaite - but i've now seen confirmation that Dunk is getting a start. Which is good news.

I like the post in the Brazil thread by someone claiming Dunks international career was over (from a half mistake) only to be prove wrong 3 days later (hopefully)!

Pls note there is a Taffs v Polak thread for those Englishman wanting to post on the England thread that they’re watching that 👍🤣
Was me, based on Southgate rather than Dunk. The same Southgate who didn't pick him for years after one mistake in TRAINING.

With you on the other bits. Couldn't care less about the sheep shaggers, I'm an England fan.

In fairness his long range glory passes have been a bit shite recently, on a par with his free kicks from outside the box. The runs and chest backs are still great though. I do worry about his lack of pace when being run at by a speedy player. Last ditch tackles are top drawer.

Was wondering what to do with a free bet I’ve got on PaddyPower so now stuck on Dunk anytime scorer. Bit tight at 8/1 though 🙁

Same here but England are playing a meaningless friendly with a scratch side, and without their best players, while the other game is essentially a cup final in front of a febrile crowd — and one I’d love to see Wales lose. No brainer for me about the best game to watch but I’ll absolutely keep up with what’s happening in the England game too.
