I hate to say it but I’m not sure about Dunk for England. He has a great relationship with the Brighton goalkeeper, defence and midfield, and obviously knows the RDZ system inside out now. To be suddenly transplanted into another side with different players and a different coach? I dunno. I’m nervous for him.

Me too. Unless Wales go 3-0 up and it ceases to be a contest, I’ll be watching that game. But will probably have the England match on iPad to make occasional checks.

I don't think the England game even makes the iPad in our house, as my wife will want the Ireland game on that.

Probably record the England game, and watch some of it back if anything interesting happens.

Scotland (W 1-3) - Dunk 90 minutes (2nd highest ratings behind Bellingham)
Australia (W 1-0) - Dunk 90 minutes (and got MOTM, rightly)
Brazil (L 1-0) - Dunk on at 67 minutes (not the greatest, no worse than Maguire though arguably)
Belgium (?) - Dunk starts

I think he's very much in Southgate's plans for the summer as the Maguire back up, provided he doesn't shit the bed tonight. I suspect it's still Dunk as the Maguire back up, and Guehi as the Stones back up.

I said in another thread, a lot of England fans seem to have weirdly short memories.

After the Scotland and Australia games a lot of England fans were saying Dunk should be taking Maguire's place as a regular starter. That all seemed to have been forgotten even before the Brazil game.

If Dunk performs tonight, I think it's his place in the squad to lose.
