I second that. Really enjoying it. Interesting comments from Bamford about palace’s ground on this weeks episode.

This morning I listened to ep 3, quite stunning and in no way surprising.
If 'we' manage to live beyond tomorrow I'm sure history will look back at 'us' and assume we were all batshit crazy.

RHLSTP is still in my rotation but I rarely listen and had certainly glossed over this one.
I listened today and you're right it's so funny.
I very nearly had to pull the car over for Torvill and Dean.

The Black Art. This is incredibly geeky, it's two guys neither of whom is a professional magician in the performing sense, but they make tricks for magicians for a living. That's designing physical gimmicks but also designing sleights and methods and approaches and performances and scripts. The podcast is an hour of them riffing through ideas and is a fun (I think) insight into the creative process. It can at times presuppose a knowledge of tricks and techniques by name or it can be confusing, but I enjoy it. (I'm a magic geek though.)

A bit niche but the British General Elections Podcast written and narrated by academic Tim Smith is excellent if you like your political history. Available on Apple, Acast, Audible etc, the first few episodes deal with the 1950 election, with future episodes, I believe, working their way through more post-war elections.
