He has to come back in the summer it wasn’t a loan to buy. Not long to go for your wish.

I thought it was?

wasnt there an option for Stuttgart to buy at at pre determind price?
It was widely reported there was an option to buy. More recent reports suggest the fee is performance based and the better Undav does the more it’s going up, likely meaning Stuttgart can’t afford the fee now.

Not sure anyone knows if it was a loan to buy or not… I’ve asked a few times on this thread but there seems to be little info. I was under the impression it was, but that may have been some ‘journo’ or rumour on here.

Ah yes, it’s the Argus who say it - but Undav himself seems to have suggested it may be different in that quote above..

While Stuttgart have an option to make the deal more permanent, it is not clear whether that would be within their financial means.

Undav is under contract with the Seagulls until June, 2026.’

The suggestion in there is an option to buy - with the value tied to goals. And has Deniz has been a revelation there the amount of goals scored possibly sets his value at a level which is to high for Stuttgart

Stuttgart have had a reputation for being somewhat potless in recent years, often yo-yoing between Bundesliga and Liga 2. This is their best season in years. Unless they sell Guirassy for a high fee (quite possible) it's doubtful they could afford Undav's now inflated fee. Unless of course they hedge against income if they make next seasons' Champions League.
