I’m sorry but I’m not as cynical ….and I’ll call it for what it is …..and I don’t like any of our players going down regularly…may get it wrong sometimes …I’ll stand by Fernandez being in a different league to a player who’s still in his infancy (yes it’s still wrong)….re the Everton player ‘injured’ not sure what point you are trying to make here…that was the lump at the back ..who clearly was able to play on and yet the ref blew up despite us being in an advantageous position which we subsequently lost ….an example of the ball being kicked out by Gross in good sportsmanship was the last home game..I’d applaud that
To your leg pull (pun intended) about what can we do, sorry I wasn't clear.

Not 'the' moment but also in the second half an Everton player was down West stand side of the middle of their half.
The game stopped without stopping, the ball ended up at Groß, and we started pleading to play on, the player started getting to his feet, we booed him and the game carried on.
Reversing that but we act the same way because 'we all hate all cheats' would be a powerful statement, but one that'll never happen so we have to suck it up.

As much as we think we 'hate all cheats' we don't, we 'hate it when they cheat'.
That difference is crucial and important, even when discussing a cheating toe-rag like Fernandez.

Again you're right there is a massive gap between the 2 players but unfortunately, and hopefully not for long, the comparison can still be made.

Ah a separate incident to the one i was thinking of….i must have missed that because the only one that annoyed me was the Tarcowski incident ..which did get me wound up.

Re the rest i think we are broadly in agreement

That he is captain of Utd shows what a mess they are in. Can you imagine this sort of thing under Keane?
If I was in power at the club he would be the first player out despite his ability (occasionally)

Yup. Keane was a leader on the pitch and Bruno is whiney little bitch. He's part of their problem.

On second thoughts. I hope he stays there and doesn't change.

Yup, Brighton fans are just as one eyed as all other fans. Whenever I read the forums of clubs we have played it is the polar opposite of what’s on here.

My spell checker doesn’t seem to care how long he has played for Brighton. Palace fan I guess….
That would explain why you would need a spell checker  - although do spellcheckers check pronouns? Mine doesn’t- I just make the effort to spell our players names right out of respect for them. ’ Adingra’ and ‘Gilmour’ are often spelt incorrectly too.

Tbf my spell checker/corrector/predictor often makes a mess of names. It did it to me as well for his name earlier in the thread. I had no idea how to spell his name so looked it up and copied it incorrectly a couple of times before getting it right because the spell checker continued to try to take me off piste. I am not going to do this every time and nor are other people. It’s nothing to do with respect. I still don’t know how to spell his name.

I just read this post (about Buonanotte):

Completely forgot the original subject, and read the next post on the thread:
Can't stand the little s***

All this criticism is so unfair 🤦‍♂️

You saw that Forest were targeting him," said Ten Hag. "There were many fouls on him and you see when he is getting the ball, they are really tight on him."

The 29-year-old appeared to be limping as he left The City Ground and Ten Hag feels the criticism of Fernandes' perceived play-acting is unfair.

"I see social media criticising him," added Ten Hag. "It is pathetic. He had a serious injury but he continued to play on Saturday and then also he fought to be part of this game.

"He has a very high pain threshold and last year, he did something similar against Spurs and I think in the semi-final (against Brighton). It shows his leadership."

Ten Hag does rival clubs social media! Why doesn’t he just concentrate on his job of catching Arsenal and ManC?

LOL. Laughable pile of horseshit from Ten Hag. Injury was so serious he jumped up and ran after play when he realised United were in a good position

Calling it for what it is.

We were going nuts at Groß when he was clearly toying with the idea of kicking the ball out, because an Everton player was 'injured'.

Imagine us reacting the same way because one of our own was rolling around.

Ain't gonna happen as 'they all cheat' while 'we're always fouled'.

I think I'm too evenhanded to be a Sky sports/VAR era football fan.
Christ. You should have been stood where I was last night. Your head would have exploded. Some of the angriest, one eyed, men (for they were all men) I've experienced at the football. You can't help getting a bit caught up in it and so I was quite surprised to find people on here saying that the ref (aka 'the most incompetent/corrupt sporting official in all of human history') had been 'quite good'. Which he probably was. I dunno what I think anymore.

Complaining about the ref only stopped when they were too busy abusing the brighton players.

Luckily for the last 10-15 mins the moaning was drowned out by the Wolves supporters. They were really very loud.

To be honest, result aside, I enjoyed the match. Lots of good things about that Stadium.
