I agree he's not there yet, but neither were Gilmour or Alexis at his age.

Dahoud was supposed to be our cover in that position at this stage, giving Carlos time to develop.

I'm not writing him off - there is definite potential there - but he does look more miss than hit me as things stand. Its not his fault I suppose that I judge him more harshly due to his price tag but the amount of pointing at positions and obvious frustrations from his teammates concerned me tonight.

Funny you should mention Dahood. Sort of game he'd have come in useful off the bench.

• No one got injured or sent off.
• Barco looks great and Enciso / Fati got a run out.
• I didn't go (had strong neg vibes about this game from the draw).
• One can only hope the goalie rotation failed experiment is over for good. (Bart #1 for me and has been since September).
• Don't have to go to Wembley (wish I'd booked another day in Rome now).
• We avoid a nice easy home FA Cup tie in the quarters... because Grimsby aside, that's just not us is it.

15 loyalty points. Return train fare to MK only £12. And, we found Jacks Cafe and Bar on the southern ring road for pre match drinks and Indian buffet food, absolutely brilliant, go there next time. It was a poor performance, the only on field positives were Enciso and Barco.

Good - The exit off the M25 onto the M23 was open.
Bad - the ramp onto the M6 from Wolves was closed.
We don't have to go to Wembly, thank god as I'm running out of money.

Barco and Enciso looked excellent when they came on.
No injuries.
No cup distraction so we can focus on league and Europe.
I didn't go.

I didn’t die
Hmm. My genuine positive from last night is that a friend tried to kill herself with 40 paracetamol, but this morning is thankfully still alive and in A&E. I’ll take that over a game against Coventry.

It's a game of opinions but I have never seen anything in Moder to warrant some people raving about him. Never scored or looks like scoring, is slow and creates nothing. Hopefully he will prove me wrong (somewhen soon).
Funny how some people had similar views on Pascal Gross not too long ago.

Brighton factually.....

Exactly this, a good player is almost invisible it’s sometimes about drawing opposition players out of position enabling others time and space to do their shit, I like him and he’s just back from a long term injury give him time, hes almost like a new signing, Christ what wrong with some folk.
