Or Stuttgart. Look also for anything close in France - The Rhine Valley is close to the border.
Basel is the best one, about an hour from Freiburg. But you could fly into loads of places -- Zurich, Munich etc and get to Freiburg easily enough. You could easily drive to Freiburg too. It's about 8 or 9 hours from East Sussex.

Train worth looking at for Freiburg- only 4-5 hours I think from Paris ? So hop on Eurostar and trains not too expensive when I last looked

Could the club give priority to those who have already attended an away game or just use the normal loyalty points system

They will not use any process other than the established loyalty points system.

It wouldn't be right to change everything for what is likely to be the club's biggest ever away game (until the next round).

My clever young lad has booked accommodation for our group in 12 of the possible 15 host venues for the March 7th game. All refundable of course. He’s a good lad.
100% couldn’t be arsed with doing that personally particularly outside of peak season but can see for a group that size it night make a slight difference I guess…….for the vast majority of locations hotels won’t be an issue at all (they were cheap and loads of availability in Amsterdam and Athens). Flights however 😬😬😬😬

So are we any the wiser regarding Lisbon ? Will it be the Tuesday or Wednesday for one game and Thursday for the other? Will they announce before the draw ?

I would imagine one Wednesday and one Thursday.

It would be great if they announced before the draw which Lisbon team would be on which day - but that would be thinking of the fans.....

I believe it will be whoever has the worse coefficient will be moved but I could be wrong!

So who would that be?
Benfica are 20th, Sporting are 35th.

So if we got Sporting it would be moved to the Wednesday?

I wonder if the club could confirm that in advance of the draw?

After all, there must be protocol for such an event?
