Disgusting. Asians are notoriously racist, I mean bloody hell, most races have a racism problem, I don't think it will ever go.
I agree with both those sentiments, no place for this racism. However, it's an internally focussed apology rather than the wider one he should be giving.....Completely condemn the racism, but where is Holgate’s apology to Mitoma in his post ?

To be honest, I have some doubts that anybody thinks of other players as "fellow professionals" nowadays.
Having said that, given the game's much less violent and physical than it used to be, I have even more doubts that most players ever did.

It amazes me that his captain among others said “he got the ball” Watch it again. The ball hit his standing left foot while his right foot was halfway up Mitomus thigh which, if it had been rooted on the ground, could have ended his career. I have never seen Dunk and the others so angry. Live by the sword, die by the sword in my book. Still angry and in no mood to feel sorry for the thick ****.

So where's the apology to Mitoma then?
This all sounds like a story to deflect from the key issue of his horrendous tackle and to garner sympathy. I would wager that any racist abuse has actually come from Sheffield United fans upset that he cost them the game. Had Brighton fans abused him you might imagine it would not have any racist tone but would simply be giving him stick for the tackle. Or I would very much hope so.
If he really has got racist abuse from Albion fans get our club and the police involved. You would imagine our club would be very pro active and keen to track down and take action.
