Load of old bollocks from the Sheff U mob. If the situation was reversed, he would be SCREAMING for a red card for the Brighton player.

Judging by his interviews since he took over, Wilder has completely lost the plot recently. This will be the last managerial role of his career I think.
Earlier I was trying to work out his game plan.

He took on a hiding to nothing.
But in doing so has behaved in a manner that makes him pretty much unemployable, going forward.

Had he made a decent stab at Sheffield he could have got himself on the 'no imagination firefighter' appointment gravy train.

As it is he'll be lucky to be in any job for all of next season.

And for an alternative view on one of their forums:

"If you buy into the bullshit that the Holgate challenge was a red card, then you're part of the problem. No one got injured, no one had to leave the game, just a robust challenge that was a yellow at the absolute worst.

This isn't football, it's non contact, pre ordained rubbish where for some reason, we're seen as the rubbing rag team, worthy of every bad decision, every talking point and for me, I can't wait to get out of this f***ing pantomime league. Hopefully some of you whiny fuckers will latch on to Man City, Liverpool, whoever and stick with the Prem because slagging us off after more decisions like today really isn't what fans do."

Must be something in the water up there....
In fairness, nearly all the other forum members call him out for the catastrophic brain-dead SPANNER that he is. But blimey.

I can sort of understand a scenario when the ref misses holgate’s ‘tackle’ and gives nothing.
But to actually witness it, and decide on yellow rather than red is insane.
Say what you like about VAR, but if it wasn’t for Var, Holgate was staying on the pitch. Incredible.

To be honest he’s probably just the local attention seeker on a wind up.
Like that one on here that kisses the King Of England’s ring piece or claims those two idiots that sing about sausage rolls while fleecing charities are somehow talented

Fortunately Yorkshire Water have a convenient website for advice on this.

"some customers choose to install blue-coloured disinfectant in toilet cisterns. On rare occasions, blue-coloured tap water can also be due to such water from poorly installed toilet cisterns siphoning back into the internal plumbing."

Lovely :drink:

Sheffield United captain Anel Ahmedhodzic on Mason Holgate's dismissal:
"The red card killed the game, killed our plan and killed everything we worked for.

"If you ask my opinion I don't think it is a red card. I don't want to say more.

"From what I saw on the pitch I don't think it was [a red card]. Maybe the replay seems harsher than it is.

"But from my view on the pitch I thought it was a fair tackle."

He couldn't bring himself to mention the word "Brighton".
Fancy conceding 10 goals in as season at home - to a single team.

They will never ever get over it. Ever.

f*** 'em.

Bollocks to what they think.

As individuals and as a club they are about to sink back to obscurity
RDZ accidentally calling them 'Wednesday' in the post match presser was quality.

The blunts and the pigs deserve each other.

From what I saw from off the pitch, Anal is a ****.

Looking at the highlights the ref isn't looking at the tackle from an angle that clearly shows Mitoma's left leg.
Coupled with that a Utd player crosses his eyeline at the exact moment of the tackle.

TBH scrolling back and forth across the challenge I'm more surprised he gave anything.

"It's a mis-timed tackle. You know, whether it's too powerful as people talk about or however they want to dress it up. The game's moved on - I get it. But it certainly gave.... yellow card straight away, I think he pulled out, but with VAR it gives them the opportunity of upgrading it - and obviously they did that."

"The older players will be shaking their heads"
"5 or 10 years ago that would be a yellow"

I'm more angry about Wilder's comments than the tackle itself.
