But surely knowing the outcome would take everything out of the game / afternoon that made it what it was? It wouldn't still have the resonance that it has if we knew the final scoreline.

The 1-1 cup draw at home with Man U - 23.9.92 (now immortalised as Beckham debut). Can still watch it on YouTube and dream of Goldstone days followed by fish and chips and drive home to Hastings......Especially remember carrying our wooden hop up stool in through the turnstiles for my son to reach the right height on the terrace (imagine trying that now). Now he's in Melbourne and I'm in Scotland and can only get to the Amex when EasyJet to LGW works, so our in-match chat is usually on WhatsApp.....

Would have to be the Millennium Stadium playoff final for me.
30,000 Albion fans celebrating an incredible result at the end of an unlikely journey against what at the time was a bigger club, against all odds, was a phenomenal experience. A spectacular day. Wasn't a bad game of football either.

Brighton 3 - 0 Palace 12/13 - the one with David Lopez and Ulloa.

Anyone who says Hereford clearly wasn't there. It was horrendous: Terrible view from that shallow terrace and we played terribly causing absolute despair for about an hour and then 30 mins of the most unbearable tension ever. With minutes to go, the sight of their bloke up the other end of the pitch with just Ormerod to beat before lobbing it straight into his arms was heart-stopping. I can't remember if Maskell had that chance to make it 2-1 before or after that close shave, but I think it was our only other decent chance in the game. I never want to repeat that experience in such a high-stakes game.
In terms of going back to games I was at to re-live the feeling, it'd have to be QPR away in 2017, as that was the result that made me certain we were going up to the Premier League - what a week of results that was!
If it's games that I wish I'd been to, I'd have loved to have been there for Sheffield Wednesay 2-1 win with 10 men. I went mental in my living room when Knocky smashed in that late winner; I can't imagine what the atmosphere was like at the Amex.

You didn’t need a ticket Crispy. It was queue and pay at the turnstiles. Hence, absolutely rammed. Great atmosphere but if memory serves me right, poor game with 1-1 draw saw us promoted and Rochdale avoid relegation

Of the games I've been to Semi-final '83 at Highbury. Just magic. Plus the U-21 game at The Goldstone where Ward got a hat-trick. I'd have found myself and given me some good advice. Of ones I've missed, maybe away at Anfield in that '83 cup run.

I would prefer the York game a short time earlier, ran out 7-2 winners in the sun after 2-2 at half time.

I think I'd like to go back to the same season and re-watch live Fans Utd vs Hartlepool or the 4-4 Leyton Orient / Scott McGleish game (as I missed it first time around as at the theatre in London with an ex!
