From The Guardian...

The mood turned ugly. Sarabia missed a chance to make it 4-1 and Jackson fluffed a header at the other end. Enraged, the Chelsea fans began to chant for Roman Abramovich. Unfortunately the club’s former owner had not made the squad. Instead Pochettino brought Carney Chukwuemeka and Mykhailo Mudryk on for Nkunku and Sterling, who walked off to loud jeers.

Toxic place!

And to think they have lumbered themselves with some complete donkeys on expensive 8yr contracts. You have to laugh
Mudryk for 80m or Trossard for under 30m.

Him choosing Chelsea was a blessing in disguise for Arse, he's way off it.

To be fair - RDZ thinks he’s a future Balon d’or winner

90mins says:

”Marc Cucurella, Robert Sanchez and Caicedo have all gone backwards after joining Chelsea. Graham Potter went from the next big managerial thing to sacked inside seven months. It is almost as if Brighton create an environment where individuals thrive while Chelsea fosters a toxic, self-entitlement that puts money above all else.”

90mins concludes that “a move to Stamford Bridge these days is tantamount to career suicide” 😂

Winstanley is all show and no substance:

“What Chelsea should have taken from Brighton are their values – intricately tailored player development, state-of-the-art recruitment and a flexible approach to personnel. Instead, they tried to buy the people whose careers have been bolstered by those values, and have then been surprised when their respective outputs decreased away from the Brighton biosphere.”

Good fan assessment here - what indeed is Winstanly or Lawrence for that matter bringing to Chelsea?
But no, Chelsea would be the last place RDZ would want to chose for his hill to die on - sorry mate.

I think that's a very astute observation. PBOBE talks a lot about the club's values. You can see how they shape the entirety of BHAFC, at alI age groups, men's and women's teams, staff, how the club treats its fans, etc, etc. I can't imagine what Chelsea's values might be....but they have been shaped for many years by only one thing - money. It'll take a long time to change that (even if they wanted to).

Can't argue but, still, Scott McCarthy of We Are Brighton might be a little biased here...
