Thanks. Outdoor area wise, Not really sure how this is going to look yet. The exisiting area is 20m x 40m so 800m2. Various sources on the internet give a rough cost of £25/m2 so around £20k, so a big ask, fundraising wise. Not even sure what that kind of price would cover. I will certainly ask for help and advice from this font of all knowledge but also look further afield, if there are any grants, write to the FA, contact clubs that have Ukrainian players and Ive even thought that our own PBOBE would be a good place to start to ask for advice given his contacts in the FA.
Very sensible options there - yes, would be nice if the FA, clubs could help. Re the costing, local labour may be cheaper than your internet searches (unless you searched Ukraine rates). Good luck and let us all know if you need funds

First, it is possible he is a stalking horse to harvest the names of all those who vote for him. Putin may be going for absolute, total control of all his subjects. To be fair, he's got a bit of previous on this.
Second (and this one is - really - out there), he may be an off-ramp for Putin. He may, by some miracle, 'win' the presidency, thus giving Putin a legitimate excuse to retire, escape with his life, and ride off bareback into the Siberian sunset. Anything is possible in Russia.

Army and defence chiefs across Europe have also started talk openly about war and preparedness – or lack of it. Sweden reintroduced compulsory civil defence for the first time since the end of the cold war on 19 January.

How interesting. I wasn't aware of Operation Trust, so I googled it.
Now that I have postulated the stalking horse theory, I find that the creation of a fake, anti-war (=anti-Putin) lobby in Nadezhdin has a precedent in the creation of the fake anti-Bolshevik movement in the 1920s. I am often reminded that Putin is a student of Russian history. This is another reminder.

Of all those options I think it’s most likely a sham to give some sort of credibility to the election. Any serious opposition candidates are already dead or in jail…..or soon will be

Yes, I agree. But I've just watched a video with Jonathan Fink and Konstantin Samoilov, and they are saying that Nadezhdin has already gone a bit rogue, i.e. strayed away from what the Kremlin would want him to say. He might be worth keeping an eye on!
