Delighted for Sarmiento (and Ipswich as I desperately want them to beat the scummers to promotion) but the keeper is not going to watch that again anytime soon!

I guess the club are playing the long game and feel we and Jeremy will be better off with him playing regularly in the Championship.

We recalled four of our youngsters from unsuccessful loans where they weren't getting enough game time; three we relocated, one we've kept here. Like many others, I would have thought Sarmiento would be the most obvious one to keep here but it's not happened that way. Guess you're right, it's all about the long game.
A spell chasing promotion from the Championship to the PL didn't do Ben White any harm - and worked out pretty well for us!
