Good Morning

I know this has been done before, but pubs/menus change ....

Where's good for a Sunday roast in Brighton (or within 10/15 minutes drive)

Thank you.

I've not sampled it myself, but the roasts at the Caxton have previously won awards, and of course the landlord is a big Albion fan and top chap.

The dining room.

Walk from the sitting room.
Nicely cooked.
Family friendly
Free drinks on tap
Unless you’re cooking for 4+ a decent roast at home can be a faff and quite expensive to be fair

The best roast in Brighton, according to my son. More expensive than a standard roast but well worth the money.

Busby & Wilds, Kemptown.

Save room to share the Stick Toffee Pudding. Do NOT attempt to take it on yourself.

Good shout - thanks for that - I've been in there pre/post Albion games but never eaten in there.
Food at The Caxton is excellent including roasts. Pretty much inhaled one after the last time I ran Brighton Marathon. Good pub grub in the week too, took my team there when we had a meeting in Brighton in the summer and I'm still in a job :)

Just far enough away from LDC
Roast lamb is very difficult due to the ability for fat to form. Unless cooked fresh per person its a nightmare.

In terms of places cant argue with the caxton recommendation.

Others to consider are haus on the hill and geese both on hanover area

Basketmakers in town

Ladies mile patcham

And for those of vegan/vegetarian persuasion, the Roundhill

All of the above are excellent choices. Another consistently good choice (and central) is The Westhill Tavern, just up from the station.
