Bollocks to em, they spent years laughing at us and taking our best players. Hopefully they'll lose their stadium and end up ground sharing with Slough town. I'm enjoying every minute
I’m not. I’m asking you not to too.

We can’t treat every Reading fan as one homogeneous whole.

At times like these fans need to stick together. We should be the last set of fans laughing at another fan’s misfortune.

Still too many unscrupulous owners taking no responsibility for the clubs for which they are supposed to be the guardian.

Very disappointing attitude to take, unless you’re joking.

No right-minded football fan surely wants any club to lose their ground?

If every fan of other clubs had echoed your sentiments above, we probably wouldn’t have a club to support today.

Hope you reflect on what you’ve written and change your mind.

Thank you, don't worry I am not offended, but I am a women. There is no indication of this and I also assume everyone posting on here is a man, unless their username is very obviously not.
My apologies for the assumption. Your post was exactly what I would hope and expect from all Brighton fans in this situation.

I joined their protest march last year, their match against Portsmouth. I wore my Brighton shirt. So many of their fans came up to me to say thank you, they were all very knowledgable about our situation. Their pain, frustration and fear was very real, I remember feeling the same about us.

Good on them for invading the pitch, they love their club as much as we do ours. I am glad they are fighting to save it.

I desperately want them to sort it out, just so I can go back to laughing at them.
Nice one.

I want them to stay afloat so I can enjoy mocking them. No town deserves to have their community hub - the football club - taken away from them by bastards.

I’ll support their fans however I can.

Harsh. Very harsh. Bordering on arrogant.

Reading FC is, imo, a tinpot club. I wish them no footballing success.

However, their fans love their club the same way we love ours, and it’s perfectly clear that the ownership of their club is materially sub-optimal. I wish them every success in getting rid of the current owners. I’d chip in some cash to help them.

Shame on you -- desperately poor attitude. You have a very short memory. Or if you're a young guy, fair enough but read a bit of Brighton history. A little empathy is never a bad thing.

How many women are you? :) That aside, you made an excellent post and it should bring home to all, just how easily it can go so badly wrong, at the expense of genuine fans.

I can't decide whether you're really young (but that doesn't match up to your join date) or just a bit of a muppet that can't see the similarities between them & us. Either way that's a shitty comment you've just made and perhaps you need to 'have a history lesson' or something like that that GP said.

I have been wondering how we could help. Do you think it would be possible if I was able to contact their fan group and get a banner or something from them, I could pass it to someone in the north stand to hold it up during one of our televised games? I would hold in up in WSU but I don’t know how affective that would be.

I’d hold it with you.

I think we need to do more of this stuff to show the rest of the pyramid that we are all one.
